LUCKNOW — A tragic road accident in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh resulted in three fatalities and left five people injured on Tuesday after a heavy goods vehicle veered off its path and toppled onto a group of worshippers assembled near a local temple, according to reports from local police authorities.
The incident occurred when the truck driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid off the roadway before overturning onto devotees who had congregated in the temple vicinity. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the location following the accident, and the injured have been shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
